What money does to people...

Today I was at work finishing up some stuff before I got to head home and I walked up to a table with a woman looking for something before she could go. She had lost her glasses, and more times then none, when I vacuum at the end of the night, I find a lot of stuff underneath the table. That was a logical place to look, and of course, they were under the table. This was no problem for me to help her find them, but it hit me that when working in the restaurant business, you only tend to act kind to people just to try and squeeze a few more extra bucks out of their wallet. It sickens me sometimes how some waitors that I know go up to a table, act incredibly nice, then turn around walk into the kitchen, and start talking trash about them. Then I think to myself, I'm glad that I am not a two faced miserable prick like some people. I do things for other people without expecting anything in return, as should other people because when you expect something and you don't get it, it's a disappointment in the end.
